Women's Prayer Meetings:
Behold, I am a Handmaid of the Lord.
The sisters of the Mother of God Community gather each month for a Charismatic Prayer Meeting. These meetings afford the women the opportunity to minister to each other as sisters in Christ.
Following
the example of the Blessed Mothers' docility to the Holy Spirit, the women
surrender themselves to the transforming power of the same Holy Spirit. As
the anointing of the Holy Spirit fills the prayer meeting room, charismatic
gifts of praise and worship, prophesy and healing are manifested. A teaching
and witness are presented that affirm the women in who they are as daughters
of God. The Women's Prayer Meeting fosters an atmosphere where sisters can
develop deeper relationships with each other. Prayer ministry is always available
to the sisters at the prayer meetings.
