Healing Mass:
Some have asked, "Why celebrate a Charismatic Healing Masses? The answer is simple. All of us are broken and need to experience the healing power of Jesus Christ. We all have friends and family who are broken and need to experience the healing power of Jesus Christ. By celebrating the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and offering prayers of intercession we are living a true community life as brothers and sisters in Christ. The priest celebrant of the Mass offers the Mass Intention for all the people who attend. In doing so, we recall the words of St. Anselm: "A single Mass offered for oneself during life may be worth more than a thousand celebrated for the same intention after death."
Many
have come to Healing Masses sponsored by the Mother of God Community over
the years. We thank God for the people who come to these Masses. We know that
each person who comes receives some kind of blessing. Many who have come have
received dramatic healings from Our Lord Jesus as a result of their participation
in the Mass. These include physical, emotional, spiritual, psychological and
relational healings. Of course healing is available at every celebration of
the Eucharist, especially when we receive the Body and Blood of Jesus in the
sacrament-"Only say the word and I shall be healed." In fact, a
primary purpose of our Healing Masses is to help people realize this very
fact and to begin to exercise expectant faith for healing every time they
go to Mass.
We all need more of our Eucharistic King! We pray that you can join us experience
the Healing Power of Jesus Christ. "Only say the word, and I shall be
