The Mother of God Community sponsors a First Friday Healing Mass that is celebrated in the spirit of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.  Some have asked, "Why celebrate a Charismatic Healing Mass?".  The answer is simple. All of us are broken and need to experience the healing power of Jesus Christ. Many who have come have received dramatic healings from Our Lord Jesus as a result of their participation at the First Friday Healing Mass. These include physical, emotional, spiritual, psychological and relational healings. We know that each person who comes receives a blessing from the Lord.  Of course the healing power of Jesus Christ is available at every celebration of Holy Mass -"Only say the word and I shall be healed."
